Hi Guys,
I am doing my 1st build and need advice on what electronics; beside the ESC I need to put together for a solid 8S2P setup. My project is a 42" shallow v hull and I will be running 4 X 4S packs; so far I know I need to wire up two sets in serial and then put those two sets in parallel on my CC Hydra 240A ESC. I have never gone above 6S before so I need advice on how to safely connect the batteries and what else I need to connect to the ESC (capacitor banks, ant spark wires and/or a charging resistor) I am not familiar with these so if someone can elaborate on them and specs I would greatly appreciate it. If in addition to the explanation you can post images better yet. My goal is basically to avoid making a floating mine
