    5 s setup question

I have been toying around with the idea of running 5s on one of my 4s boats. Its the 68 roostertail chisel nose hydro in my avatar pic. Its a very fast hull for an old school hydro. Narrow transom like some of the new race hydros have. I will be running a 3s pack and a 2s pack in series with a 60a speedo...proboat blackjack motor and 45L prop. Do I need to prop down a little? (pretty fast on 4s setup) or will I be ok? Also my 3s packs are 2200mah and my 2s are 4000 mah. Will the difference in battery capacity be an issue? Thanks, I appreciate all the advice I have gotten from some of the seniors on here!

what is motor kv? if its 1500kv then yes, prop down to 40 or 42mm, take short run, watch for temperture then prop up til hitting to the running time you asking for, anything over 120 degree is rolling dice, specially those stock esc, only 45a.

Its the 1500kv blackjack motor. ESC is a 60amp......I was thinking a 42L might be good but didnt know if I could try the 45L thats on it since the motor is strong and the speedo is 60amp.......maybe too much. Do you think I will get any more speed from 5s or should I leave it "spec" on 4s? What about the different mah packs in series? problem?

even its 60a still, temp is most important thing you should base on, lower is better, more reliable
