    Ec-5 connector assembly question??

I just got 12 pairs of new blue EC-5 connectors to replace the 4MM bullet connectors I have been using. I am planning to get an I-charger with a paralell charging board soon, but for now I need to know which body do I use for the battery leads - Large outer or small inner, and which metal connectors - male or female in which body? I don't want to get a paraboard and find out I put them on wrong and have to start over??? Blind Squirrel Bob

Female with smaller outer plastic on batteries and male on charge leads with bigger plastics.

Learn from my earlier mistakes and don't go with EC-5 connectors, they are not all they are cracked up to be, go with 5.5 or 6mm bullets. There are many, many issues with ec-5, including the need for extra adapters to connect a pair of packs in series.
I ended up swapping all of mine over shortly after I began using them.
The AM-1005 bullets from HK are good and cheap.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

I on the otherhand had absolutely no problems with them on my 1/10th Hydro

Happy to report - changed all connectors from 4mm bullet to ec5's - used to heat up everything - wires - speed control - batteries - motor. Now, after changing, running larger prop (Prather 215) speed control & paralell wiring harness - almost no heat - Motor - gets warm but definately running cooler - warm to the touch only - batteries - get pretty warm but not unusually so - my guess is around 115, if that. Am running 2/5,000m paralell for 14.8v
