    How to keep batteries dry?

    Just as the title say's. Whats the best way to keep your batteries dry in case of a sinking.

    Best is to ensure your hull is watertight. But every now and then things are gonna get wet. The lipos actually do pretty well-- water won't really hurt them, it is just with constant moisture the contacts inside can start to corrode. If they do get wet, just let them dry out for a few days. Don't bother trying to "seal" them like you would do with the ESC.

      I had a couple lipos stay underwater for for almost a week, let them dry out and they still work fine!!

        I have shot some conformal coating in them when new.Seems to work so far.

          A lot of us use a certain female item with a string. It is very absorbent and takes care of when there is some water that gets in, but not sinking.

            I run my Lipos 'open' in my tunnels. Not in the radio box. No problems at all.
