    Battery info needed.

    Anybody ever have any batts that show good voltage, will balance well but will send the esc to lvc once under a load?
    I have several that are doing this, they have set for quite awhile over the summer in the Texas heat so they may have been damaged. Most of them are my older batts.
    I though I was having esc problems but it turns out its certain batteries that's doing it. Any info would be great.

      Just this weekend had the same thing happen to me with 2 set's of batteries in a SV27. They are older batteries that charge and balance fine I just think they gave up the ghost and no longer have the power.
      Modified Jae21, Stock Jae21, Cheetah, Ul-1, Shock Wave 26 V2 (Rescue Boat).

          How low are you guy's draining your Pack's when you are running your Boat's.

          The reason I ask is Rich from this forum told me he had some pack's that he ran in his boat and ran them down until they hit the LVC,from what Rich told me from doing that his pack's are now damaged and he can olny drain about 1000 to 1500mah out of a 5000mah pack.

          From what I have read on the forum it's best to time your runs so that when you are done you have about 25% of your pack's Capacity left in them,I'm not sure if that's what could have happened with your guy's pack's just though I'd throw it out there.

              4 minutes max, I have egg timer on my radio. just old batteries i think.

                  My lvc cuts at about 3.6 and I never have to charge more than 3000mah on 5300 packs.
                  Still not sure what's up. I think the heat in my garage killed them this summer.

                      What kind of Pack's are they and how many run's did you get on them.

                          A couple of gens ace 4s 5300 and a pair of sky 4s 4000.

                              Just little sugestion had similar problem on rc car batts 2 of em guy told me to drain down with charger and then balance charge they work fine now but wouldnt before and showed full charge try it worth a shot
