Dont leave your Lipos plugged in

Left a set of 3s 4000 40c's plugged into the ESC 2 weeks ago, they barely register any voltage and they are puffed slightly...............crap, great batts too. I tried reviving them with a nimh charge and the cells were way off, then the charger flashed and beeped with a low voltage error....................fat leads have been cut off the save the 5.5 bullets, and in the bucket they are.
NEED PARALLEL CONNECTORS?? QUALITY 5.5MM, 8MM, 8 AND 10 AWG, GET THEM HERE: http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...est!&highlight=

Do you use an on/off switch on your esc then? I just plug my batteries straight into the esc so I have to disconnect my packs to power down the esc.
