Wiring Harness to Convert From 2P to 2S

I am currently running a Castle 180HV controller which come setup with two sets of battery wires for a 2P setup, I would like to try running a 2S setup. Has anyone come up with a good idea for a wiring harness to convert the Castle 180HV to temporary 2S setup?

You should be able to just cap off a lead from each connector. If its hooked up I parallel the circuit will be complete when you hook up the first batt

        Right.
Both, red and both black wires are connected together on the main board inside....

So it appears that you soldered three 5.5 connectors together and then covered them with shrink tubing. I assume that this is to solve the problem of the two sets of wires from the Castle 180HV, or do you use the same setup to connect two batteries together? It seems to me, from when I started to think about trying 2S versus 2P, that there would be an auful lot of connectors/connections which could setup negative resistance????? I am an old nitro guy, I can build the boat, but electrics are still like a mystry to me.

Just plug in to a set of wires and cap the other two off. Keep it simple

Or just run 2p and enjoy less voltage sag.
