    Cheetah on 12s

    What do you guys think!
I have been running a Cheetah on 6s 1p with a Fightercat 1760kv out runner, and a TP 4092 1600KV the outrunner get gets a bit hot and the run times are low the TP is a little low on torque looking for a HV low amp long run time sport setup
So I just bought a 16s 200 Amp esc thinking of buying a Leopard 4092 700kv motor to run 12s do you think this will ok?
for long run and speeds around 55/60 mph
    would like to run this on 4 x 3s 4000mah pack on 12s 8000mah?
I have no idea on prop size and what kind of run time i could expect, but im sure it will be better with a high voltage low amp setup to keep things really cool.
Just wondering if im on the right track with this setup or if there is a better way to go.

Is it me, but if you wire the 4 packs in series to get 12s, surely the pack is only 4000mah?

      You are correct sir.

That should work Sam.Bear in mind that the core temps in the motor do build the longer you run.So you'd have to keep an eye on things every couple of minutes till you get comfortable with it.And it is a matter of playing with props. You could start with a X445 or X447.This is how I would go about it.

Yep you would need 4 x 6s 4000mah to give 12s 8000mah. Re the 1760kv outrunner on 6s, 39000rpm unloaded is a lot of rpm so it is going to run hot.

You really shouldn't have any problem getting that speed Sam.A 4092 should push a good size prop. It'll just be a matter of finding the right one.And for that matter,my Geico is right there with a X645.Have you started on working with props yet?

I would test everything and get it going with a X445.But I think that X448 would be fine after,a M645 or 646 may go too.Depends on the motor. Some like Dia,some like pitch.

Sorry about rattling off props but I have a huge prop box.
