I just had a Zippy 2s 5,000 puff up on me. Less than 2 months old, maybe 3 runs on it in a 4s2p setup. Balances out still, and always did. Had them in a lipo sack in the garage. Got 100F in the garage yesterday, but I thought lipos like a little warm, plus they were in the sack on the cool cement floor.

C'mon now Properchopper, you gotta get a pic of this beauty

EVERY zippy I ever had puffed! Total crap batteries. I have incredible great luck with Hyperions. The new Haiyin batteries are holding up extremely well also. Haiyin is in the USA. Has a good warranty. Prices are reasonable. www.haiyinstore.com

What makes it doubly bad is that I run batteries in pairs, so one going bad is really like two going bad. So, I cut off the leads and balance tap and tossed it into the lake.

Just kidding!!! I am disposing of it according to the accepted practice.

I think I may give them a try. I also do like my SPC packs, and they have top notch cusomer service. I'll say that again, as it is so unbelievable these days, but its true, they have top notch CS for sure. I think I will only order from US based from now on. I am not even going to think about possible compensation from HobbyKing.
