    I have a mystic 29 running a leo 7074 2200kv , seaking 180 esc , x642 sb , nano-tech 25-50c 6000mah , is it ok for me to use ec3 connector instead of 5.5 bullets ?

sorry yea i meant ec5. so can i just buy the kintec ec5 parallel connector made with 10 awg wire ? would be ok to use ec5 connectos on the esc battery end ? im not that good at soldering and im trying to avoid soldering 5.5 bullet connectors but if i have to i will lol and are the ec5 going to melt on my setup ?

5mm should be fine. You will need to solder EC5s as well...

Here's a tip on soldering bullets-- get a piece of wood and drill out shallow holes to hold the bullets. Tin the end of the wire, then also drop a small piece of solder into the bullet. Heat up the side of the connector and let it all melt together... practice on a few first so you get a feel for how much solder to use-- if you use too much it'll dribble out of the bullet and mess up the connector end.

The nice thing about bullets is you can wire up your packs in series directly without a harness. The downside is you can sometimes dead short your packs if you are not paying attendtion when you are hooking them up (I've done that twice...)

Go with bullets, makes wiring options so much easier, I started out with ec5's then quickly cut the plastic part off put some heatshrink on the connectors and never thought once about going back. All those big bulky connector bodies are a big pain to get arranged around everything.
Even makes charging options easier, I now charge 2 2s packs as a single 4s pack, can make charging a little faster.
Haven't shorted out a lipo yet, hope I learned my lesson back in the car days, shorted out a few Ni-cad packs. Burnt off a good chunk of thumbnail once!
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?
