    Haiyin Batteries

This will probably stir up a storm, but I have 10 sets of these batts and I'm convinced. I run them in my (3) 4s set ups and a 3s mini. Best money ever spent on batteries period. High charge rate, punch, and really affordable. 40-50c claimed. I dont doubt it now. Spend more if you will, but if you want bang for your buck-go Haiyin.

There is no storm to be stirred up since youre telling us of your experience with those batteries. Good news about batteries is always a welcome read.

I have 2 of them and can't complain. I have only cycled them about 5 times, so we will see.

Any real data to back up the opinion? Have you done any logging with an eagletree or the like?
I'd like to see your numbers compared to other brands of high end batteries.
Do they offer to buy your packs back for 40% when you buy new ones?
How many runs do you have on them yet, how long do they hold their punch?
How does shipping and return policy compare to RCLipos?
Looking for some new packs, debating, but still leaning towards TP.
              Cheers

I've never used data-logging (yet) my opinion is purely seat of the pants. At 28.50 for a 5000Mah 40-50 c if they last just a couple of seasons, I'll be good with that. Got about 10 runs on my 2s packs and they charge quickly plus balance out sweet. One of these days I'll get a set of "premium batts" and see if there really is a noticeable difference, maybe there is if you race high volt stuff. Time will tell.

I wouldn't doubt that you're getting great results from your packs.
Many seem convinced that theres only 1 or 2 quality brands, I'm getting great results from my "budget" Venom packs.
Haiyin claims to have extremely good quality in their ads. Apparently lipo is all they do..

i like mine. wont say that they are the best in the world but so far they been good.

dont think they offer 40% off when you buy new ones.
so far i have a good 20-30 cycles on my 3S 4000 mah and they holding up pritty good.
tested with my hydra ice and the motor draws the same from them as they do with my turnegy batteries ( im no were close to the max rating)

shipping compared to rc lipos. they are ALOT cheaper so even with free shipping from rclipos it is less then $10 difference for 2 haiyin 40/50c 3S 4000 shipped to my door (($83.49 deliverd for 2) then for 1 TP3850-3SP30 from RC lipos

return polecy. dont know i never had a broken haiyin batteri so i cant tell you how they work with that. only orderd from Pat at rclipos ones and 1 of the 2 batteries i got was DOA and was offerd a new one if i payed shipping. and shipping from norway to usa is more then getting a new battery from HK or haiyin.

that beeing saied. Pat at Rclipos is a great guy and would probarly have orderd alot more from him if i was in the US and i could send thing back and forth cheaply

                    just MY experiance.

Pat over there at RC lipos is a good guy.
Cares about us boaters. I've had my girlfriend show up at his DOOR to make sure I had pax in time for my race.
                      He's good.

RClipos has gone above and beyond for me as well, always interested in decent sport packs though. Not everyday at the pond is a full on race day, having a number of sport packs can really increase the time on water.

VEEEERY good point. These bang for your buck budget lipos are getting more cats involved.
They then have the choice to move up in performance, but we've got a new breed of consumer.
lower middle age guys want bragging rights over their buddies at the social gathering.

                          Lipo is clean and neat.
These guys wanna spend about 400bux for their entire rc endeavor and have something that runs respectably because they know its available.

Ive been VERY impressed with my 4s 5000mah packs. I have consistantly been 2-3mph faster than my Gen Ace packs of the same rating, and they run a bit cooler also. I am a sport runner and dont have any super data to back it up but my garmin GPS, fluke IR thermometer, and a stop watch are proof enough for me. I have been running my Gen Ace packs for one run then my Haiyin packs next run and the Haiyin packs definately hold punch longer than the gen ace does.
