Which side of velcro is glued to hull???

I am getting ready to put the velcro in my hull for my batteries and I seen in a thread that I can't find again that a certain side(loop or fuzzy) should be mounted to the hull and the other side to the battery. Could someone please tell me which side goes to which? Thanks for any help in advance!

Don't think it matters, but all mine have the loop side in the boat, with fuzzy on batteries. Little easier on the hands when you are handling the batteries.

Known as "Hook & Loop" or by its trade name Velcro. I think most do put the hook side down on the hull side. I know I do. The hook side does not hold water were as the loop side, while not water absorbent, can hold onto and retain water. Making it harder to evaporate thru convection.

I put the hook side down in the boat as well -- easier to get the water out of the hull.

I use battery trays or cutouts where double sided H+L can slide through.. and wrap around packs.
None my packs have H or L attached.
              zero failure.
