    Break in lipos

    Hello.
I'm starting this thread because i couldn't find any info.
How many circles and how many amps draw?
    A 5x5 is correct (5 circles by 1c increasements)?

You won't find much consensus on this. Plenty of folks do no break-ins. The only data I've seen on the advantage of a break-in was by a tech at a US battery assembler. He tested two packs, one without a break-in the other with a break-in. Both get exactly the same use. The pack without a break-in performed better quicker - the other took 6-8 cycles before it equaled the non-break-in pack. The down side was the non-break-in pack only gave 2/3 the life of the broken-in pack. But this was only two packs.....

ThunderPower recommends not averaging more than 3-5C for the first "few" cycles. I use a battery discharge unit and discharge at 3C for four cycles, then put it in the boat and go.
