bullet connector de soldered when i plugged it in. Alternatives?

Plugged my 3s lipo onto the speedo tonight and it desoldered the 4mm bullet connector with one big ass spark

im hoping to go up to 4s so i'm wondering if there is an alternative to bullet connectors.

not too happy with using a deans as i cant solder them to save myself!

3S shouldn't give a big enough spark to desolder a connector (i have plugged in 5S with no resistor)
it is possible that you have a short and the current going through it shorted it - check all your connections.

You must have plugged in incorrectly and shorted it out.

Whether you chose to believe it or not "one big ass spark" is the sign of a direct short ie; incorrect connection.

          Ask me how I know...

4mm bulllets can take about 80-100 amps constant before they start to heat up.
you would likely have to put 200+ amps across it to immediately deesolder the bullets, regardless of the solder quality, it shouldn't melt that quick.
draw a schematic or take a picture and we'll let you know.
