You think my Lipo "fix" is OK?

Ran my 39" 6s2p mono yesterday and it seemed slow, then the LVC cut in.............didnt seem right so i brought it in. Checked all the batts with my lead tester and one batt measure 8.1v...........unplugged and brought it home. Cut it open and one of the solders had 'seperated'...............here's my fix, I'm thinking it should work.....................input?

Is there a trace below it? I've done that before and it worked ok until it had a decent load on it then it opened in the same spot. I ended up putting a jumper wire from one point to the other along with the solder and it worked.
Either way it's a lipo that's probably on it's way out. You do run the risk of the solder melting onto one of the other cell connections and causing a short if it happens again, which could lead to fire. It might be worth it to retire that lipo or use it in vehicles where the aftermath of a fire isn't as bad.

There is no trace below it..........i had a bit of trouble bridging it with the solder but finally got it there..............i was thinking a piece of wire too. The Lipo has never really been stressed being only run in 2p since new. Its solid and "square".....................hmmm.
