Hi everyone,
I bought some 2s Lipos that were new from someone who just hadn't used them.
Anyways, there are no markings/info on the batteries, just solid black, and I can't remember what brand they were off the top of my head. Being there are no markings,I am not sure the actual Mah.
I used one this weekend (2s in my shockwave, which only needs 1 battery). I stopped running it before the cutoff kicked in as the wind picked up. The battery was barely even warm to the touch.
When I put it on the charger this morning, it had 3.75v per cell, which to me means there is still run time in it right?
With that said, it put in 5048 Mah after the charging was all done. My question is, are my batteries larger than 5000mah then? Or is 3.75v per cell lower than I am supposed to be taking them? I am not sure what the cutoff is set at for Lipos on a stock Shockwave 26 Brushless, but I never hit it.
I read that if you have a 5000mah battery that you should only be putting maybe 4000mah back into it, otherwise you are taking the battery too low when using it?
Thanks for any clarification and help.
