Need help to understand Parallel Deans Plug

I am trying to increase run time by hooking up two 3s lipo for Venom KOS P1. I only want 11.1v, so no mysteries there. The thing I am so puzzled by the fact is that the ESC won't arm once the batteries are pluged into this contraption that is made by GreatPlanes. I am attaching a photo. I bought a second one thinking the first was defective. I used a multi meter to test and all plugs are showing voltage. DSCN1784_1323.jpg

Do you have a multimeter to test for continuity at - and + sides of the new plugs ?
The plug both batteries into the new parallel plug and test for volts, You should have 11.1 v,
But I would ditch the dean plugs.
And go with 5.5 bullets, Just a lot better setup all around and less resistance,
That will give you more power in the long run and cooler temps to.
      ? ONLY IF THEY WORK
