    C rating vs. mAh

I have a question for all of you. I was thinking one day how the C rating of a pack stays the same but the mAh of a pack can differ. This as we all know changes the availability of amps we can use. Lets say we have a 5000 40c pack (200 amps constant), as we run the pack we loose capacity. Lets say I have used 2500 mAh that would give 100 amps. My question is does the amp delivery of the pack change as its capacity is used up?

No. The "C" rating is an indirect measure of internal resistance of the cells which doesn't reduce as the pack is drained. Actually, the "C" rating my go up as the pack heats up. With older tech cells this was very definitely the case, four years ago it was common to see a boat speed up noticeably after the first two laps as the cells heated up. This phenomenon is much less pronounced with modern cells.
