    5s lipos

    I have two protec 5600mah 2s 65c lipo im looking to run a 5s set up im in need for two 3s lipos with 5600 mah and 65c anybody know of such? what else can i do to have two sets without buying four more batteries?

    if you cant find any you may have to sell then buy new it sucks i know, what are you putting this in maybe there are more options for you, where in florida are you?

      Im on the west cost of florida in bradenton just south of tampa. its going in miss geico proboat i put in a seaking 180 and trying different props. stock motor.

        instead of new batts have you tried propping up ?

          Be carefull using batteries from different manufacturers at the same time. The numbers on the packs may be the same but there is a good chance they are different on the inside. That could mean trouble.

            Im going to try m445 prop what should i watch for heat on the batteries and motor?

              motor esc batts connections... take it for a quick blast then check it...

                  if you don't have a thermometer, do the "5 seconnd" (i usually use indefinitely) test.
                  if you do not feel comfortable holding on to the motor/ esc or batts for a significant quantity of time, they are too hot.
                  if you have a way to test the exact temps let us know and we can tell you.

                      everything should stay under 120-140F, if something is higher, you need to prop down or change something.
