don't combine a grim racer with a zippy, even if they are made in the same factory, the cells won't be matched and are likely not even made identical, especially if you have used your 2S pack and broken it in.

Out of how many are sold i bet the 'bad' reviews equal about .000001% of 'em. I have dozens and never had one "go bad".

I have Zippy/flightmax as well, like them just fine too.

i have had 6 zippy's, a total of 17 cells and one of them was bad, so a 94% success rate.
I went with gen's ace packs instead, i still have 3 of the 4 3S packs.
i'm not saying don't go with zippies, or turnigy's for that matter, i have a 3S basher pack that has been shorted (accidentally) countless times and still runs fine.
Just DO NOT MIX DIFFERENT PACKS.

Also, if you're dead set on running 5s, I run 5s Zippy Flightmax 3000mAh in parallel. You'll have to solder new leads to your ESC, but it's a good excuse to go ahead and swap everything to 5.5 bullet.
