I have a 3 s Lipo,, it is puffed out,, when I go to charge it on a bal charger it only see 2 cell's , is there a way of getting them back or should I just recylcle it thanks chris

Did you have a use for a 2 cell? I think the 3rd is shorted out and done for. You could use the 2 good ones if you are confortable rewiring a 2s balance plug and removing the bad cell.... Otherwise......recycle
(and to be on the safe side, hook up a voltmeter at the balance end to test and confirm the puffed cell is the bad one. Chances are 99% it is, but still. If you are stripping the cells into a 2 cell, you can test after you disassemble....) -
As a second thought, was there anything fishy going on when it puffed. What were the circumstances?Comment
