I had a set of turnigy 5000 20-30c that i was running in an SV. One of the packs was dropped and puffed .can i run another brand of batt with the other turnigy as long as its the same mah and close to the c rate?

It is a good idea to run exact specs on packs if you do nont it is asking for trouble soon or a later you will most likely draw the lower c rating cell down further than the higher c cell. Chrismy youtube videos http://www.youtube.com/user/chris81983?feature=mhee -

a 25C battery from one company might deliver 20-24C but a 25C from a higher quality company might deliver 26-30C
you might be able to get away buying an identical pack but if one has been run more then it might still affect it if you are pushing the batts.Comment
