    Series Wiring with 5.5 Bullets.

Ok, i understand series wiring, but i'm a little confused as to how to go about it from scratch with new batts/ESC and 5.5 bullets. So i have a new set (2) of Turnigy 2s lipos with the 5.5 bullet conectors, and a new Seaking 180 ESC. I'm gonna solder on the a "male" connector on the red (+) lead on the ESC and a obviously a "female" on the black (-) lead of the ESC, correct? But what about going between the batteries? Do you just plain hook the battery leads of both batteries right together, as in positive lead to the negative lead, since they both already have the bullet conectors on them? Am i making sense lol? Thanks
