    lipo question...

hey guys im an ex nitro freak and am now getting into the brushless scene... I purchased an aquacraft ul-1 and am currently running the stock 60 amp esc and the stock 2030 kv motor. Im using grim racer speed packs 4200 mah 30c 2s packs... is this a good choice or should I go bigger? if so can my stock set up handle it??? Also im using an onyx 235 charger from duratrax... Is there a way to charge 2 packs at the same time??? thanks...

Those packs are fine for your setup, going bigger wont hurt anything, adds a bit more weight which is not always a bad thing, but gives longer runtime. I'll suggest two of these for a bit more punch and more runtime........CRAZY cheap!!

Your onyx can charge two 2s packs in series

2 5000mah will fit fine and give you more run time. I also will run one single 4s Pack at time nut I have a bunch of 4s packs from other boats. Also look at the sky and gens lipos from hobbypartz. I've had great luck with both.

There are some new batteries just coming out. They have impressive specs and are attractively priced. They are shipped in the U.S. from a U.S. warehouse. I will be trying some soon.

There is an active forum on RC groups about the batteries. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...8#post19880728

Personally, I would recommend these over the Hobbyking or Hobbypartz packs.
