Important lipo info govt regulations

Hey guys the DOT is after our batts. I dont know if its been posted already but in a new proposal the DOT is recommending lifting a license that allows model rocket motors to be shipped as flammable solids and not explosives. You might wonder what it has to do with you well the same license will affect lipo batts as well. read this

I went thru all the regulation crap with the ATF and AP motors when I was doing high power rocketry and the battle was a long one it took 10 years to get their decision overturned. While I dont race anymore I do like to run FE and I am sick of the govt thinking we are a threat simply because we enjoy a hobby. I hope the IMPBA and NAMBA guys are reading this or know if it already it took NAR 10 years to get the hobby opened back up so we really cant afford to not be proactive.
