6s split to 3s what do you do with balance plug ?

Looking to split 6s1p to two 3s packs, But need info for balance plug.
Any one ever do one or have any info ?

Ok thanks for the link.

But,
I think the black wires on the balance plugs on the lipos are the grounds.
So if i make two 3s1p pack out of one 6s1p pack,
I need to run a ground wire for the another balance plug i will need.

not sure, but plug it into the 6s port and and hook the batterys in siries (spelling) like you do on the the boat, It wlll take longer to charge but will work. I tried charging two 3s bats at the same time and put the balencer plug in the 6s slot and hooked the batterys up in series (spelling) ok, I'm getting loaded, time to get off, oh I'm already am. later. but try it.

I am trying to make, Two 3s packs out of one 6s pack.
But the 6s pack has only one balance plug,
So i need to run one to the other 3 cells,
So when i separate the 6 cell i have two balance plugs giving me two 3s packs.
