4mm Bananas or 5.5mm Bullet Connectors. Which is better?

I bought a cat everything inside is connected by 4mm banana plugs. The Lipos I am currently running are 2s 5000mah 15-20c in series they have 4mm Banana plugs on also.
I have just bought some new 2s 5000mah Lipos but this time 40-50c. These have 5.5mm Bullet Connectors on.
I have both Bananas and bullets here ready to use but which one will work best?

The 5.5s will handle more current at lower temperatures. I guess that's "better".

Fluid, My esc are Himodel 200amp and they have got 12awg wires coming from them which is fairly small. The old batteries had matching wires but the new ones have 8awg wires on which are thicker. Can I connect these 2 different wires together? I ask because I don't think I should something about resistance.... but your the expert

Unless you intend to re-wire the ESC (don't do it!) then you can connect the thin ESC wires to the thick battery wires. It is not ideal, but is what you expect with cheap ESCs. It will work fine within the limits of the ESC.
