    lipo discharge

    i have 5000mah 22.2 volt 40c lipos (6s) triton eq charger when discharging what discharge current do i use ?

    The best way to discharge LiPos is in your boat! If you can't do that and you want to drop the voltage for storage at home, then I don't think it matters. I use 15 amps myself, but there is no magic in that number.

        You are right to ask. LiPos should not be stored for more than a week or two at full charge. Discharge to 3.80 - 3.90 volts per cell and they'll be fine in cool storage.

          thats what i think but my triton eq charger discharges at up to 1 amp how long will it take to bring down my pack???

            well, if they are fully charged, at 1A it would take 5 hrs being that it is 5Ah
