castle hydra 240 ,lv cut off

just been running a new setup with the castle hydra 240 now ive noticed that with this esc there is minimul or no warning to bring the boat in after LOW Voltage detection is done the boat just stops ,then goes bout 5meters and thats it
do i need to use a timer here all the time ??

,with the aquacraft and hobbywing esc setup in other boats the boat stutters then i can easily bring in goes for another 30 seconds or so ..

also my cutoff is at 3.3 is the standard 3.0 volts too low or still safe whats a ok cutoff range to save batterys from danage ..

what usually happens to me (don't know if this is right) but the batteries get low enough that under load the voltage drop sets off the LVC, then I can bring it in slowly with enough charge not to set it off again.

I set my LVC at 3.4 volts for most boats, but then I never run my boat to the LVC. If you set it too low you won't be able to bring it back in as the cells are too badly depleted.

you never hit 3.4V under load, even with partially discharged packs?
