Hobbyking has a balance charger that is inexpensive (35.00)and has worked well for me. Will bal charge upto 6S.
HobbyKing ECO6-10 200W 10A 6S Bal/Dis/Cyc Charger w/ acc.
I have also had good luck with there Turnigy Lipo's.

You can get the same charger from Hobbypartz, I have one and really like it, I'm planning on a buying a second. I'd like to have 2 chargers at the pond.It will cost less from Hobbypartz and arrive much quicker, sometimes they have free shipping if you're in the states, you'll get it quicker too as that place is in California not china so you pay much less for shipping anyway.Been using their Gens Ace batteries in my spec setups and having great luck with them in the low amp draw setups.Can get 2 5300mah 30c packs to my door for less than Turnigy nano-tech 25c 5000mah packs from hobbyking. I'd say they are at least as good a battery in my applications.

one 4s battery works well in the ul-1 and you can move the weight around that way as well. You need at least a 5000mah for good run times. You should also put larger connectors on the motor and esc because they will de-solder if you don't. Look at the ul-1 thread, there is a bunch of great info. Have fun, its oneof my favorite boats.

what do you mean one battery 4s 5000mah are you for real.my connector's on the motor are 4mm bulletsul-1 007.jpgul-1 029.jpgul-1 028.jpg and check out this prop i think its 40x53

Hobbypartz does have the charger, I also have had good luck with there
Tacon motors!

Yes. You can run one 4s battery rather than 2 2s in series. You only have to charge one batt and can shift the weight around that way. Same voltage either way.
The stock esc to motor connector tend to melt under heavy use and so do the deans connectors. If you cam change batts, esc and motor to 5.5mm bullets.
