    Best Charger Today-Anything Changed?

    Here is my situation:

Seems like this topic has not been visited recently.

So, I have a Triton JR setup for parallel charging. Yes, only 50 watts so charging my 5 AH batteries takes.....longer than it should. But 2 chagers would be even better, right?

So has anyhting changed in the "best Charger" catagory? I would love a 150-200 watt or so charger like the B6 or Hyperion 0720. I have a PC power setup already going. Willing to go $200. Do NOT want China made knock off. But is seems like there is a ton to choose from.

What about online stores to buy from? Any recommendations.

    Thanks Guys.

Just thought i would revisit this issue before potentially throwing out $200 oh garbage, you know?!?!

      Hyperion!!!

If $200 was your limit, I would keep an eye on ebay and snag a Hyperion Duo. Even the older Duo II's are great chargers.

If you can go a little higher, $250 for a new Super Duo that GP73 linked is a great price!

Can I ask why I did not see the FMA power lab discussed here ?? I have found it extremely popular with the large scale heli guys and it is topping my list of future purchases.????

                        Doug,

I guess is that the FMA power lab was not discussed because you hadn't brought it up earlier. But as you put it "it is topping my list of future purchases"...Once I research it and I have the cash.

I use two 47A power supplies in series from www.feathermerchantrc.com to drive my Hyperion 720duo. That gives the 24V necessary to charge two big packs at a time up to 20A charge rate on 5000mAh packs. The Power Supplies are a true bargain. $90 for the pair including shipping! There is a thread on RC groups about them. You have to remove the ground on one of them. Not a big deal.
I fit the 720 duo, the two power supplies, an Xtrema charger, and two smaller TP chargers all in one of those double transmitter cases. The power supplies are enough to drive all of the chargers at the same time. I have 24Vand 12V taps. If interested, I'll take some pics and post here.
