    Battery Help

I need some help figuring out what battery I should get.

    25" DF mono copy
    4074 Leopard 2000KV
    Hobbywing 150A ESC
    X440/3 or K442 prop
    4mm shaft, wire drive.

I need to be 4S. Anyone have experience with putting bigger batteries in these boats?

I was going to get 5000 mAH 4S but it wont fit. Would 5000 mAH 2S work?

Dang! 4074 in that little boat! Not sure you're gonna be able to keep it on the water!

You're gonna need weight to keep it down and some amps so I'd go with two 2S 3800-4200's in series. One on each side of the boat where the velcro is. IF you can fit 5000's in and still get the CG right, then go for it but she's gonna be awful heavy.

Not sure either of those props is big enough but good safe place to start.

      Thats the whole point! lol

I want it insane this year.

I havent figured out how to properly size batteries yet (I need to find a tutorial) so it leaves me to ask when unsure.

So 2S in series at 3800-4200 area will work then? excellent!
