    whats a good amp meter and will this work?

    I found an amp watt meter and want to know if this will be ok?

    only rated to 100 amps

      I have that one it works ok I guess ...Just make sure you give it a fine coat of corrosion X .... mine got wet and stopped working so i coated it with corrosion x lightly and now it works ... and now should be protected from further water contact.

        If not that one then what's a decent one without breaking the bank? Ose sells one but is like $70 more than I wanna spend

          i'm in the same boat as you, i had the turnigy watts meter but it blew cause it was only rated 130a, i started a topic and seems the eagletree 150amp is the way to go, and guys are using the donut add on to read up to 300 amps, at least i think thats what there doing.

                There are 2 ways to measure amps. 1. direct series connection, and 2. inductive pickup. The two are separate as far as eagle tree goes. They are different systems unless you pay some major bucks for DMM that can do both.
