Looks like HK got some super cheap lipos in, "B" Grade , so my question is who's going to be the test sucker - I mean subject ?!?

I don't know, I was checking them out last night as I was ordering a few packs from HK anyways, seems kinda sketchy. The $$ wasn't bad on some, but I still couldn't bring myself to order them.
        RC boat people are weird.

I would try one MAYBE as a rx pack, but I have 0 intention on using them as my main power source.

IMHO... That is the last place I would try one of these packs. How much are your boats worth to you?

I can tell you this, they are worth alot less when they are beached on a load of rocks.

This is just my opinion though, and I am all about a good value.

I'd only use them in my scale boats where the amp draw is only between 15-40A, depending on the boat. But that's where my used & tired packs from the fast boats get retired to. So I guess I won't need any at all. But I think they are more suited to very low amp draw setups.

The last batch of "A" grade turnigy's I bought are crap! Dead or low cells on arrival. Puff on first 1C charge, and one ignited on the bench!

I think Turnigy are taking advantage of their own popularity now & don't care about quality control anymore because they know that people won't bother sending them back. Happened to a guy at our club. A dead cell on arrival. He just gave it to me & I converted it from a 4s to a 3s pack. Another pack for my scale boats.

I agree with that statement and value your opinion, and I doubt I will ever buy these, I still use nimh rx packs, but reason I stated that that if i did get them i would use them on my rx is my ds3x gives me a voltage reading of my rx pack and all my fail safes are set, so if I lose signal or battery power to the rx boat just stops dead in the water (servo and esc to neutral.)

*I do not plan on ever buying these packs though ANYTIME. I posted this thread for conversation and alert on new products.

If there's an article, i sure would like to get that info. Thanks.
seems how i'm taking a 2s cell and a 4s cell that each have a dead cell an making a single 4s i'll include some picks of that.

I made a couple videos for you, hope it helps

I didn't go overly into detail, if that doesn't help please specifically state what you need further help with.
