    Batteries dying after one cycle

Hey everybody, I hope somebody can help as I'm fairly new at this. I've gone through 4 batteries that keep totally going flat on me with my BlackJack 26 brushless. I use the Dynamite LiPo 7.4v 5300 2S batteries and a Passport Ultra charger, the battery charges up fine the I run it and when I go to put it back on the charger, it beeps away meaning the connection is broken or doesn't register the battery at all. Can somebody help???

Did you program your ESC to run with Lipo batteries?

If not, did you run the batteries until the boat stopped?

If you run Lipo batteries lower than 2.7v per cell they are ruined, you need a programmer to setup the ESC to cut power to the motor, from the Horizon Hobby website:

"A programming module (PRB3311) is required to change the programming of your speed control in order to use Li-Po Batteries."

Yes I reprogramed the ESC to run the LiPos, so is it a guessing game as to when you should stop running the boat to not completely drain the batteries?

No, if the ESC is programmed correctly it should cut power before damaging the batteries, normally it will slow down the boat or stop it altogether.

The best is always to bring the boat back as soon as you see it slow it down or even before that.

Maybe your ESC is not working correctly?

Also the charger could be defective? Maybe the Lipos are OK but the charger thinks they are dead?

Are you charging in balance mode and connecting the balance plug?

                    How long was each run?
It should not be longer than arround 4 minutes on that boat....
