    parallell chargeing ??

do many of you guys parallell charge

i want to cause when i go out with 3 boats for the day with 20 packs or more its such a pain going to charger 20 + times to keep restarting packs ,

now i have a hyperion EOSO610I.NET which is a 250 watt 10 amp charger ,and want to buy the parallell board below and dont mind if it takes a few hours ,and was also told is BETTER chargeing like this cause all packs will be charged similarly .??

also if i want to charge 6 of 2s 5000 mah packs thats 30000 mah what should my max amps charge rate be 10 amps or do i need to be less ????

I often parallel charge but only a couple of packs at a time as my charger is only rated to 7 Amps.
If you were to charge 6 x 5.0A packs in parallel with your charger at it's max 10 A setting, each pack would only be receiving about 1.5A charge rate. So they would take about 3 & a bit hours to charge.
You need a bigger charger to do that. At least a 30A one, & a power supply to match.
It's good for the batteries to charge them slowly, but not good if you need them in a hurry. But I see that you said you don't mind if it takes a few hours.
Two packs would be the maximum on your charger to still achieve a 1C charge rate to each pack.
    All the best.
    Paul.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

What power supply are you planning to use when you go out with all your lipo's and where is it going to be plugged in?

I use that parallel charging board on my Imax b6 charger, its work fantastic...I use it to charge my 2 6s 30c 5000mah zippy and it balanced perfectly and it save me alot of times since usually I charge each packs. Now I don't have to bought a charger that can charger 4 packs at a time, use this board would be enough and even can charge 6 packs in one go.

I have one of those boards, and every time I use it to charge 2 lipo batteries it only charges them to 8.30v. Never gets them to the 8.40. Maybe mines a fluke board, who knows.

Also, when I was charging them I was doing a balance charge. I just got back from running the boat and am currently charging two batteries with that board in just a regular charge(no balance) to see if it gets them to the 8.4 mark.
