    New Venom 3S2P 6400mah ???

    I just got 2 brand new Venom 3S2P 6400mah Lipo's.
I ran them in my Traxxas Spartan for maybe 10min on a full charge or so i thought.

I plugged them into my Charger and Balanced it back to 4.2V Per Cell but it only showed 3100mah when the charge was complete.

I decided to run them again today and the same thing happened, the LVC kicked in brought the boat back to shore.
I just put the pack on the charger and once i hit start all 3 cells showed 3.85V
This means my LVC is kicking in way too early correct. Shouldn't the cells show 3.2 or 3.2 when they are empty?

Forgive me for the newb question
Any help would be greatly appreciated

typical Traxxas ESC, the vilenions vxl3s always did that too, heck my turnigy 180amp did it as well, i just turn all my LVC off now and run it. when the boat starts to slow play time is over and even then my batts are usually only down to 3.5v per cell, so the whole LVC thing seams stupid to me in a boat. i also have an external buzzer that goes if if it drops below 3.2, but they never do before i quit.

If you are running LiPos until the boat "starts to slow"....you are running to long and will eventually cause damage to the batteries.

Did you charge the batteries before you ran them the first time...most are supplied from the manufacturer at 50% capacity.
