Cell chemistry is what determines the charging profile and final voltage. Lithium Polymer (LiPo) are different than Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFe).
Lithium Polymer (LiPo) have a max cell voltage of 4.2V. The LiPo NanoTec have a slightly different formation to allow the electrolyte to have a greater ion density. This leads to a lower internal resistance, or less voltage sag under load. The cells are otherwise the same. The charger should be fine. Just obey the manufactures max charging rate.

Not so with LiFe. they have a MAX cell voltage of 3.6V. and need a charger that will provide that. Otherwise, you will cook your battery.

A final note about battery life coming from a guy with professional battery experience (Ford HEV / EV)
If your concerned about battery life, never discharge your battery all the way down to 3v, unless you are going to put them on the charger right a way, like within minuets. Same thing with charge. Never bring them up to full, unless you plan on using them right away, like in minuets. Time spent at full voltage, especially warm, is the fastest way to kill your batteries, outside of abuse.

In a word, YES. Nano-tech is just a buzz word for latest generation of Lipos. You can charge them at a higher rate. Otherwise, charge the same as other lipos.

You can charge them faster than regular lipos, but Id just stick to 1c as that will give the longest battery life.I think the nano techs can be charged at up to 5c.
