    What are good mimh battereis?

I have a blackjack 26 with stock electronics, I have one set of lipos and one set of 7 cell traxxas 4200. Both perform pretty well for me, I am just looking to tep away from lipo, why to much stuff can go wrong with them. I think I have a bad one now, just looking for a little bit more runtime but not totally need, go with another set of traxxas 4200s or something else? I also got a second charger for xmass that does not do lipos and I can not return it.

Getting away from lipo is a bad choice. A step in the wrong direction. Lipos and chargers can be purchased very inexpensively and only need to be handled and maintained properly. NIMH's are dated. Especially for brushless boats.

I've never had a problem with normal batteries, nad nothing but trouble, My charger only charges lipos at 3 amps and takes close to 1.5 hours to charge one so thats 3 hours to do one set of batteries. I have a $130 to work with battereis and chargers if I go that way.

My chargers now are a vision peak ultra and a onyx 100 which my parent got me for christmas like in oct. so I can return it. And to try to sell it, it was $30 to start with. I only have one balancer at this point.

Absolutely. Turnigy lipos are great. They have good inexpensive chargers as well

                I wouldn't bother with HobbyKing!

This is the BEST charger on earth for the money. 6S, 5A. On sale and free shipping! I have 3 of them.

I might still away from lipos, the person I got the boat from rand 4600 6 cell packs and that thing was a blast to drive, I don't want a lipo to go off in the house ether, I don't feel safe with lipos with my 1 and 4 year old around.

I can understand. I have 2 kids as well. I satarted keeping the lipos outside in the shed in a metal container. There is a good thread on here about that subject.
