Serial config with different MAH

Hi,
I think I read that this was a no-no, but I can't quite remember...

I have a hyperion g3 35C 3S 5000mah pack, and I have a hyperion g3 35C 2S 5500mah pack. Can I run them in series as 5S limited to 5000mah?

I know there is risk of over-discharging the smaller capacity pack, but is it fesible to walk up the runtimes and monitor the pack's temp?
