nimh cells slow at first on full charge

so my losi lst2 is running 6 cell nimh pack. i noticed lately that at first it seems real slow, then after about 30 to 45 seconds of running it starts to gain more speed and seems normal. anyone know why? is the pack junk?

Check your solder joints. You may have a weak link that is giving too much resistance till things heat up a tad.

sounds to me like you need a new motor or it needs to be cleaned out and re lubed.... Try this hold your truck off the ground and apply a little throttle so the wheels are turning very slowly do this for a minute or 2 to re set the brushes to the com then give it a go and see how it runs.
