Charging 2 2s1p packs at once?

Just to be clear on my research, I should be able to charge my new 2s1p packs, same age, make, mah, on my single charger with balancers using the series connector since that is how they will be run? Run as 4s packs, so charge them together as 4s with balancers?

how should i start, just plug them in and let the charger charge and balance initially?

    Never ran dual packs before.

I searched that thread and I did not find what I wanted to know regarding lipos. tho I have an idea that i need a balance plug setup for my needs from this website:
http://scriptasylum.com/rc_speed/_lipo.html I have looked and cannot find a source for the plugs i need to create that balance wiring.

        should work now

should work now, plugs as shown for 2s + 2s. Ive got turnigy batteries, but it doesnt matter as the plugs would just have pins and I use a astroflight blinky.

Hc needs to make a 3x 2s series balance adapter for 6s chargers, they have had the 2x 3s for a long time

I was charging lipos in series, It was fast, and thought it was great till I had problems with them not charging equally - one battery overcharged,(8.64v) while the other was not charged fully(8.16v)but was showing on the charger 16.80v fully charged. I suspect that I puffed up a pack this way when I ran a set like this. I won't do it any more - lesson learned. Batteries are to expensive, like gold...

If you have a good charged/balancer you shouldn't have any problems with over charging any one pack when in series. Depending on what kind of balance plugs you have on your batteries e-bay is your best bet. I got 2-3-4-6 plugs from e-bay. They were less than $5 for 10 pairs male/female. You can get creative with them as well.

I had this guy make me what was needed to do parelell charging. I found him on the RC Groups forum and he was a great guy who took lots of time to make sure he made exactly what I needed.
