    battery placement in outboard tunnel

    Hi Guy's ,

    Slowly prgressing with my Outboard Tunnel project , just wondering if a forum member knows where to place my 2x 2s batteries , the boat is 32 inches long . Looking to set it up at optimum ride so that only the last few inches in water ??

    Most tunnels cg is toward the rear of the hull. Generally the last 4-6 inches is where you want your cg. Remember prop angle and depth have a lot to due with getting a tunnel set up well. I would start the depth of the prop around 1/4" from the bottom and 1-2 deg neg angle.

      4S 4200-5000 pack in front of the esc, rcvr, servo. Balance at 25-30% of the hull length from the stern of the boat.

        role reversal

        So much the same as my 32 inch Cat ,though just a reversal of components , apart from the placement of weight further rearwood hey ??

        Also considering adding an Outboard Pod , borrowing wood from home reno's then fibreglassed to the rear for some added complexity ( LOL ) , or would this make the boat overly flighty ??
