Should charging AWG = Discharge wires AWG?

So my charger came with little 18AWG wire... whereas my lipos have 10AWG wire... should I replace the wires on my charger? Its just a dinky little 50w charger and appears to be working fine. Therefore, I assume all is well, however I did notice the charger even has some leads as small as 22awg (of which I won't be using).

Are the 18 AWG wires getting really hot.. if not, I wouldnt worry about it.
