How is it done? I just got the plans from lomdel, and can see the steps on the outer hull pieces. how is this transferred across the bottom of the hull?

You glue in a small narrow piece of balsa as shown in the pic below courtesy of Oldmann... I'm not at my own PC right now, so I can't feature my own build.
