    I love the boat, and that motor is sick , its a mini blackjack motor. The kv's are perfect for that motor just add more volts eg. 4s 14.8-- my preference would be a zippy 4s 2200 (and theryr only like 20.00)

          i dont think i need to get more kv's i can not control this thing with the 3s1p 11.1v 2200mah hellipro its just way to unstable .

              i cant get out of half throttle with this hellipro battery one slight ripple in the water and splash im swimming

                  Hey did you guys notice that that motor must be made by the same makers as the blackjack motor. Notice colors and wire colors are exact. I think it is himax as they also have a model named the 3630-1500

                    Check your strut angle, but mostly it's the weight of all that HW on the stern. Maybe you can compensate for it with strut angle??
                    Also, what prop are you running? Try a smaller diameter prop too.

                        have a look at my 4th pic on the 1st pg i got no play with the strut . the prop size i have no idea it came with the rudder.
