thanks!!! I will keep you guys in the loop!

I really want to try this on 6s, or 18 cells. I will have to borrow my friends lipos for the 6s set up. but I am gonna try some different props first.

I started with the 442 cause I have ran that prop on my mono, (it has the same motor that the vegas has) it was runnin low to mid 40s on that prop on 12 cells, with low temps so i figured it would be a good start. of course my mono was over a pound lighter also.

Dirty what were the speeds on the 440/3 prop?

I have not had a chance to get it on the water since the last run. I had to order some props and sharpen them so, I would have I selection to try on this boat.

Just those couple of times, we have a new pond and we can only use it on sundays as a club function.

I have been so busy moving stuff and our newborn is due(actually over due) so I have been trying to get the babys room done up. I need two of me!

I was thinking 6s on my 1521 1.5d should get me into the mid high 50s easy on a small prop so those speed should not be a problem. as for speedo well just for added insurance use the biggest one you have, in case your prop selection is way off. i use a mgm 160 amp now when I test a new boat

I ran the above motor on 18cells in my 30 inch mono (for grins) on a x438 and it was INSANE! wish i had the gps at that time!
