well I took her out for a test today, I even took the camera guy with me. and what happend, boat goes 15 feet and stops, the problem turned out to be the motor coupler tried tightening the set screw and it just spins in the threads. so I have to pick up a replacement tomorrow, It seemed all right when I checked it before I launched it.

when I did that I stretched a piece of glass cloth and secured it with CA on the edges then I just brushed finishing resin into the cloth, so the turbine openings are open from front to rear, but sealed the hull from the big openings, if you know what i mean.

there is another hatch mod I am thinking of performing, it is to shorten the "exhaust" so its not so difficult to tape there.

My concern is that in the event of a blow over or flip the scoop my fill with water rapidly and tear it of at speed!! not good. Ill come up with somthing to fill this area and let you know....

but other than that i think my vegas runs pretty decent

your vegas runs good, try going to same diameter smaller pitch X442 let the motor wind out more see if it picks up speed. i will be using 4200s or my lipos 4s2p.
