I might just have to take you up on that offer once I am done building my Titan 40. I will keep you posted on when I would like those plans. I appreciate the fast reply too. Thanks. And boy that boat is looking good.

Thanks for the compliments! I really enjoy building RC boats, and have a special spot for these kneelers! Please do just keep me updated on when you might need a set. My email is [email protected]. If you have any other questions, just ask! Mike

I found someone willing to make the set I need of cowling decals! Maybe if we got together a few different people that needed a set, the price would drop. Here is his original full size set. I emailed him today, and he said he could make them any size..im waiting on a price for the smaller set as we speak! Contact me if you need some, and I will see what he can do!

Those decals look amazing. That motor will look awesome when done. Where exactly did you get that outboard motor and cover from exactly. The more I watch your build, the more I want to build one myself sooner.

The outboard is a K&B 7.5/11cc lower unit, hyperformance products 7.5 electric conversion adaptor, medusa 36-80-1600 motor (the motor is really for my 37" mono build, and I will probably end up with a 36-80-1100 medusa using 8s2p in this boat). The cowling is an old DPI 1/4 scale cowling that came with their 1/4 scale tunnel boat. I am going to make a mold of it since its long out of production so I can make more of them for other projects I have in my head...and on the shelf for that matter! I have a capsule hydro that I started and never finished. I am probably the only one to build one of these that mimic the US Title series Capsule Hydroplanes. Here is a picture of it as it sits today:

What type and size of wood did you use for this? I love tunnel hull boats.

It uses 1/8" for the main strength areas, 1/16" for intermediate areas and run pads, and 1/32" for sheathing. All plywood. Mike

So I found a person to make me 2.5 merc decals. He sent me a mock up in an email to print. I put it on crooked, but its not the final decal set, so oh well! lol. its just sticky paper. Anyways, so thats that, and I cleared the hull with automotive clear coat, so its really shiny! And, at the bottom, I got my Capsule style Pro Hydroplane painted..well, got it black, its gonna get some red soon. So check it out! Mike

Looking good. Where did you find the electric conversion and the outboard cover? I want to price out this project.
