    Miss elam

(pro boat brushless miss elam) ...... I decided to take advantage of a good deal and build a hydro.. Got her online brandnew w/out esc.. I knew i wouldn't use the stock ... Anything... Except hardware and hull.. So ive decided to reconstruct the inards to accomidate a 4s1p pack as i have plenty .. And will water proof ect.. I have a 2300 turnity motor, 6xl and a 1509 1.5 d., 100 amp esc's and 200 amp esc's all could be used for this build. All my boats are for fun , not racing but i need speeeeeeed!!!!i want to see how far i can push it!!! Now i know the 1509 1.5d is too hot for this set up, just not sure if the 6xl is as well on 4's 1p. Any thought as i build this puppy? The last picture is a bracket designed from someone else and looks good, so ill fab one similar and use this as an adapter bracket to mount a (real) strut that can be adjusted and be able to usemy s/b props..

.................................................. ...............c.f done and rear part of the cowl & huge hole from old antenna sealed..ALSO TRIMMED BACK STUFFING TUBE.. IM GONNA PUT A 4'S PACK IN THE NOSE SO IT WAS REINFORCED WITH 2 LAYERS OF C.F AND CUT THE TUBE BACK TO SLIDE THE MOTOR BACK AS WELL. I FIGURE WITH THE ADDED SPEED THE C.G WILL BE MOVE UP A LITTLE...BUT ILL NOW HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM TO PLACE EVERYTHING WHERE EVER NEEDED FOR THE CORRECT RIDE...

man i left the hull in the sun for a few hrs today for the c.f to cure and the same for the cowl, but the cowl was upside down ... the color changed sugnificantly!!! crazy... so i guess tomarrow ill leave the cowl rightside up for an equal sun tan.. ill post pics tonight as i epoxied the grooves left from the dummy turbine for flatness when tape sealed. i also epoxied the motor in place, cut out c.f. reinforcement plate for the turnfin & installed. installed antenna mount, esc, reciever.. IM STILL LOOKING FOR A STRUT AND BRACKET TO COMPLETE THIS BUILD.. oh yea, i decided on an equal to an ammo 2300, and a hi model 200 amp w/ fan cooling, and 4s 1p 5100 mah lipo.. should haul ass!!! i think?ALSO PUT A BETTER PUSH ROD AND SEAL /CLEVIS'..

Maybe applying an UV clear over the final paint to preserve the color? Either that or some sunscreen SPF 40+ waterproof LOL
